Salem Roberts Participates in Oliver Herring's "Areas for Action"

Areas for Action by contemporary artist Oliver Herring is an exhibition concept of participatory performances, improvisatory sculptures, and real-time collaborative artworks.

It was first realized at Meulensteen Gallery in NYC between October 7 and November 6, 2010.

Salem Roberts participated in the Color Spit Group on 10/30/2010. Six participants were originally scheduled, but 12 showed up, to spit food dye in choreographed bursts inside an open Plexiglass “arena.”
